Neuropathic pain

The projects of this working group are dedicated to noninvasive diagnostics and therapy for neuropathic pain. The main goal is to prevent pain from becoming chronic. Quantitative sensory testing (QST) in the division's own QST lab is highly important in diagnostics and differentiation. It is used to develop mechanism-based treatments following prior differentiation of symptoms.
