The goal of this project is to optimize existing activities regarding patient care in the hospital. In current publications, we investigated measures that can increase patient satisfaction in the recovery room. In addition to classic topics like structured pain assessment or medicinal and non-medicinal pain therapy, we investigate other potential influences on satisfaction such as thirst, dry mouth, fatigue, nausea and vomiting.
We work together with the QM/RM staff unit at University Hospital Graz as part of the project "Optimization of Pain Management at University Hospital Graz." In addition, we closely cooperate with nursing, medical technology occupational groups and different psychology disciplines.
